REFUND

We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.
But you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. This is when the item: 

  • has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it
  • is unsafe
  • is significantly different from the sample or description
  • doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed. Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value. If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement. Please keep your proof of purchase – e.g. your receipt.

EXCHANGE, REPLACEMENT OR RETURN

Thank you for your purchase. We hope you are happy with your purchase. However, if you met the condition above, you may return it to us for a full refund, store credit, or an exchange. Please see below for more information on our return policy. 

EXCHANGE

Same-value member credit will be issued to you to purchase other items. The product must be received by us in the same condition that you received it in. Original tags, box, unworn, undamaged and able to be resold. 

How to apply

CREATE AN EXCHANGE, REPLACEMENT OR RETURN

Sign into your account, go to ‘Your Orders’ and select ‘Create an Exchange, Replace or Return’ in your account on the order you’d like to return.

PLACED AN ORDER AS A MEMBER

If you aren’t registered on Space4baby, you can visit the ‘Create an Exchange, Replace or Return’ page. Then, simply submit the form. 

IF YOU ARE NOT OUR MEMBER

To start the process, please send us an email to [email protected] with the following information:

  • Your name
  • Order number
  • The issue (faulty product, wrong size)
  • What you’d like (exchange or refund)

WAIT TO HEAR FROM US

After we receive your item, we will inspect the item(s) and process your refund/exchange/return if the item is in resellable condition. Once we’ve received and completed your exchange or refund, we’ll send you an email to update you.

We aim to process your return within 5 working days of receiving your order. However, during busier periods it may take slightly longer.

RECEIVING A REFUND

Refunds will be:

  1. Credits to your Space4Baby Account (1 Credits = AUD $1).
  2. Credited to the payment method used to place the order. You will also receive a refund of duties and Goods and Services Tax (GST).

What is A Customer Credit?

A Customer Credit is an amount of money added to your Space4Baby account, they are different to Membership Points (What is ‘Membership Point’? See Space4baby Rewards Program). A Customer Credit may be applied to your account to correct billing errors or to cover downtime where you were unable to use your services due to a fault. 

Unlike a refund, a credit is not returned to your bank account or credit card – it stays on your Space4Baby account until it is used to balance charges on your next invoice.

For example, if your account has a credit of $50.00 and your next invoice totals $85.00, then your invoice would only require a payment for $35.00.

What can I do with Customer Credit ?

Customers can apply their Customer Credits to an order when checking out, a customer must first log in to their account. Once logged in, they will see their available Customer Credits listed in the top menu bar of your homepage or on their account page. This may vary from theme to theme. When the customer goes to check out, they will be given the option to use their store credit to pay for their order or to use an alternative payment method and save their store credit for a future purchase.

 

Can orders paid with A Customer Credit be refunded?

Yes, the same return policy is applied. A Customer Credits will be automatically returned when an order paid with Customer Credit is manually placed in a Cancelled or Refunded status. s

 

What is a refund?

A refund is an amount of credit on your Space4baby account that is returned to your nominated bank account or credit card. To transfer the credit to your bank account, you can select ‘withdraw’ and give the amount of credits you wish to transfer. A refund can only be processed if your Space4baby account has a credit on it.

For example, if your Space4baby account was in credit for 30.00, then a $30.00 refund to your credit card would bring your Space4baby account balance back to $0.00.

Please note that the refund time frame may vary depending on the payment method and processing times between payment providers.

Your money will be refunded by the method you selected or your member credits will be issued to your account. This may take between 5 and 10 business days. 

We do not accept returns on Clearance items, perishable items, intimates, gift cards, custom items or digital products.

Deposit

Reverse an existing order.  If the customer has paid for the deposit and wants to cancel the order. We imply ‘non-refundable deposit’ policy if a customer is cancelling an order which has a payment applied.
